"Accordingly, for weight loss should start with improving sleep," - said one of the creators of the research Christian Benedict.

Benedict subjected students to different sleep regimes, some received the usual eight hours, and the rest did not sleep for several days. This factor in turn increases the risk of obesity. Past experiments showed that those participants who slept no more than 5 hours a day, gained about 2 kilograms a week.

According to the creators of the experience, in which the students of the above-mentioned university participated, a sleep defect or a bad dream lead to a set of excess weight due to a slowing of metabolism, a rise in the level of stress hormones and hunger hormones.
